Prize distribution ceremony for 9th Ayurveda Day 2024 was held on 30th October 2024 under the aegis Dr. Sulochana Bhat, Head of the Institute which upholds the role of this antient science in addressing modern health challenges. The distinguished guest on the occasion was Sh. Jagdish Gowda, PSI, Talaghattapura Police Station. Distribution of prizes to winners of various events held in connection with 9th Ayurveda Day were given which created a sense of awareness amongst todays generation and promotes ayurvedic principles of healings in society.
9th Ayurveda Day 2024 was
celebrated today with its theme ‘Ayurveda Innovation for Global Health’
with various activities worldwide. The honourable prime minister Shri
Narendra Modi has launched today, the Centre of Excellence in Ayurveda
for Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders sponsored by Ministry of Ayush at
the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. This scheme is led by
Dr. Navakanta Bhat alongwith Dr. Sona Rajakumari at IISc. Investigators
from collaborating institutes in Bengaluru include Dr Sulochana Bhat,
Head, Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI); Dr S Srikanta,
Director, Samatvam: Science and Research for Human Welfare Trust; and Dr
K S Nagabhushana, Prayoga Institute of Education Research.
